STONEFIRE DRAGONS BOOK 1

In exchange for a vial of dragon's blood to save her brother's life, Melanie Hall offers herself up as a sacrifice to one of the British dragon-shifter clans. Being a sacrifice means signing a contract to live with the dragon-shifters for six months to try to conceive a child. Her assigned dragonman, however, is anything but easy. He's tall, broody, and alpha to the core. There's only one problem--he hates humans.

Due to human dragon hunters killing his mother, Tristan MacLeod despises humans. Unfortunately, his clan is in desperate need of offspring to repopulate their numbers and it's his turn to service a human female. Despite his plans to sleep with her and walk away, his inner dragon has other ideas. The curvy human female tempts his inner beast like no other.

65,000 words / Complete story with a happy ending / A BBW and Dragon-Shifter Paranormal Romance

NOTE This was previously titled, "Sacrificed to the Dragon Boxed Set (Parts #1-4)." However, it is exactly the same story.

Sacrificed to the Dragon Stonefire British Dragons Book 1 edition by Jessie Donovan Hot Tree Editing Paranormal Romance eBooks

Such a good story that I read the whole thing even though I was exhausted. I couldn't put it down. The relationship between Melanie and Tristan is powerful and full of passion. From the very beginning they have a strong attraction between them, and a spark that leads to great friction, and dialogue. Soon they learn to understand each other and love each other as they were meant to do. Great book I really recommend giving it a try. It has very good plot structures, steamy sex scenes, and a believable love story.

Sacrificed to the Dragon Stonefire British Dragons Book 1 edition by Jessie Donovan Hot Tree Editing Paranormal Romance eBooks Reviews

Melanie is open minded, stubborn, and has a help-everybody personality-and that comes in handy when dealing with Tristan and his dragon clan. She's sacrificed herself for dragons blood to save her little brother. She's also decided if she gets pregnant, she isn't leaving her child behind. Mel is going to stay and make the best of the situation.

Tristan is your typical brooding alpha male with a very negative outlook on humans due to his past. Being assigned to breed with Melanie isn't his first idea of fun and he goes out of his way to be jerk to her. He's horribly rude and judgmental with no reason since Mel has only been polite to him. Once Mel gets pregnant, Tristan tries to ignore her but his dragon half refuses to let him have peace. Mel's breaking his preconceived notions of humans, his dragon half is constantly pushing Tristan's human half to admit she's their mate, and he's running out of excuses to say no. What's a "dragonman" supposed to do?

Frankly, I found this book funny! I mean there are some serious moments that have to be dealt with-Tristan's hatred of humans being an obvious issue-but Tristan controlling human side and his dragon's raunchy humor had me cracking up! The back and forth banter was comical-all I could imagine was his grumpy human half arguing with his horny dragon half in his brain-and it just made me smile! (Granted, if you're easily offended by the f-bomb and some down and dirty sex scenes, don't read this book.) At heart the dragon is a pretty simple creature-food, rest, sex, he's a happy camper. Tristan's human side is making things complicated and that's what made this story worth reading. I enjoyed this book enough that I'll definitely be checking out other books in this series!
I found this book really enjoyable. It was a different type setting then most shifter book that I read. They have their own community and while humans know of their existence they steer clear of them.

Melanie was a head strong hero. There were times that she seemed very unsure but her backbone was always there. She spoke her mind and that was one of the things I loved about her. I wish we had gotten to see more of her family, because it was a big deal with the plot.

Tristen was a broody butt for the first alr of the book, but it's very understandable with the plot. I like how his dragon half always wanted Melanie while his human have fought tooth and nail. We got to see different sides of Tristan and overall I even liked his Broody half.

The plot was different. I can't say that I have read one like this. My heart broke for all of the characters because one was there to save family, they other one had to go against everything they thought they knew. Even with that, love and a bond was formed and I loved it.

The detail in the world building and details overall was very good. The author had a great writing style I love the alternating point of views and the descriptions of everything that they both saw and experienced.

Overall this was a 4 star read. Mainly because I felt that there were a few characters that we should have saw more of. It's not that it truly lacked anything, just that I think the story could've benefited with more detail on certain aspects. #2OCCJD
I love this series! The reading was a bit different than I am used, and by that I mean instead of being one book it was broken up into 4 parts. You can buy each part separately or you can do what I did and buy the box set. I would suggest the box set, if you are like me after reading part one you aren't going to be able to stop ).
I loved this book for many reasons.
The story was original. It is about dragons, their population is dying down so they need human female sacrifices to repopulate. Human and dragon relations are strained though, so humans entering into this deal are not 100% sure what to expect. The thing that makes it worth it is the healing power of dragon blood.
Melanie is earning a PHD, but has to put her life on hold because her little brother is dying. Human medicine can't save him, her only hope is that she will be a match for the dragon sacrifice program. In return for her helping to repopulate the dragons world, they will give her a vial of dragon blood to save her little brother's life.
Tristan hates humans. They murdered his mother and torture his sister and the last thing he wants is to be forced to spend time with them. He would be just fine not having to be involved in the whole sacrifice ordeal. The alpha dragon and his best friend tell him he has to take part. So with lots of reluctance Tristan enters into this agreement.
Fate has different plans though and Tristan nor his dragon can stay away from Melanie, his dragon knows she is their true mate.

As if that isn't enough dragon hunters (The same one that killed his mother) are trying to kidnap members of his clan to sell the healing blood on the black market. His sister is still tormented by what the hunters did to her. And his dragon had gone into a mating frenzy!

Speaking of Tristan dragon, in the whole series some of my favorite parts were seeing the dragonmen interact with their dragon half! I love the small inner arguments they have, and their dragons make me laugh with the cavemen tendencies. Not to mention the dragon half seems to think they are always right and are very straight forward with their demands.

I don't want to type to much more, my sister claims I always give away crucial parts of the book and ruin it for others, but I do want to say this story is so worth reading!
It is funny, original and has a whole crew of characters that are going to make you want to keep coming back for more.
I purchased this one week ago and already finished this box set, Bram's story, Reveling the Dragon and have just purchased Healed by The Dragon!
